Take him. It ain't about killing squirrels, it's about getting him out in the woods and spending time with him.
Yeah we spent time walking the trails and I showed him a gut pile from the buck I got the other day.
We searched for some buck rubs and I showed him how to track and look for leaves turned over where the deer had ran.
I showed him some good spots where we could build natural blinds and showed him some of my older ones I had used in the past.
We also raked my path of leaves from my field to my ladder so I can sneak in real quiet in the mornings.
He loves that stuff and learns fast but if I try to make him sit still for more than ten seconds he is ready to climb under and over everything he can get into.... Haha .

One of the best times I have ever had hunting was a trip that I took my oldest daughter on. We were rained in all weekend and never got out of camp.
