Is that a crack on the front of that receiver?

I'm assuming that is a carbon/polymer lower? looks more like an imperfection in the mold than a crack in the receiver to me. Its near impossible to get them to come out of the mold perfect. there is almost always in my experience some imperfection somewhere in them
