On the fence about painting my AR Camouflage, since I will be hunting with it. It's currently black with a stainless barrel, and NOT concerned with resale value since I do love this rifle. Any thoughts out there?

I've seen some really nice camo jobs and some really "special" ones. I have one of the "special" ones on an old muzzle loader. It looks questionable at first glance; but about disappears on the ground. Paint the furniture first and see how you like it or have the entire rifle hydro dipped if you want. My advise is to get a couple pieces of cheap GI furniture to practice with first and get your technique down before you do the whole rifle.
