Yeah I got a warning for the big storm band heading my way around 3am this morning.

TIL we now have a siren installed near the house. I don't really see the point. Nobody I know has a basement. I know exactly one person who has a tornado shelter. It's a safe bet the odds of catching an ER-worthy spider bite in it are greater than being hit by a tornado.

We're not that far apart. Our house has been hit by tornados 3 times in the last 38 years. The one 2 years ago did the most damage but the 1st one killed my favorite dog.
I'm not sure if it's just my own bad luck or if we're in some kind of target zone...I've also been bitten on the ear by a Brown Relcuse that required medical attention and I still lost a little piece of ear so maybe it's just me.
Don't stand too close to me on the golf course.

We’re still without power in south Coweta. 12 hours now. I’m currently running the house on my generator. No ET on power restoration 🤷🏻‍♂️

My working theory is It's a yin/yang thing. Every time something good happens in someone's life in order to keep the universal balance misfortune must befall somebody else.
In this timeline it appears I'm the chosen one and after I'm gone it will pass on to some other poor predetermined soul.
Either that or someone in my ancestry must have really pissed off an old gypsy woman.
