how about those established members that send you offers, you accept, then when you are ready to schedule a meet, they mysteriously have to go to Texas…. But they list other stuff on here the next day….. I always say, if you changed your mind, then let me know and we can move on.

people saying "No trades" are dumb. I've gotten a les baer in trade for an M&P I had, along with other highly in my mathematical deals, all because the person wanted what I had more than valued what they had.

That said, if you say your gun is $500 cash or $1200 trade I assume you're an A-hole generally.

Not as dumb as "Trade only, NO Cash".

How about that one fella about 10-12 years ago who went into some long, drawn out explanation about his wife (or daughter's) medical condition and they needed expensive treatments so he needed cash NOW.



But.....he was willing to take trades as long as they were HEAVILY in HIS favor. LOL.

All of a sudden the cash didn't matter as much.

I have listed things in the past for sale or trade with a set dollar value or specific trade listed, say $1000.00 or trade for xxx. A little later I find something else that I would like to buy for $750.00, so I lower the cash price to $800.00, to try to raise the needed cash. The original trade value stays the same, because I'm really looking for cash at this point, to make the other deal and not just trying to get rid of my item for anything other than what I originally listed.
