trading a gun for ammo?

I see posts of people want a glock or Springfield for there 300 rounds of 5.56.

Do you think people are really doing this. I wish tbere was a way to see what things sold or traded for.

I'm sure they are. Despite the market and even before ammo is still worth money...

I have been getting 350 rounds of 5.56 and 223 for 1 BCG, which is a fair deal for both sides. I find it VERY hard to believe that people are giving 450 - 500 dollar hand guns up for 123 rounds of ammo.

Sure if the folks really need the ammo. It's going for a buck a round (it was) so 600+ rounds should get you a Glock. The law of supply & demand...

I don't get it either, especially when there is still supply; Granted, I can only get 3 boxes per trip to Academy, but at least it's on my way and I'm paying normal prices.
