I don’t do a lot of trading personally because people get butthurt and get feelings hurt. “He offered me $450 for my Glock, that’s ridiculous, it’s listed at $600, that’s $150 less than asking, that’s ridiculous”. I have 300+ deals, I’d say maybe 10 are trades. I buy and sell only for the most part.

I tried to do trades when I first started on ODT, I tried making trades.I never had anything the trader was interested in or was "worth" the "trade value" so I just don't bother.

My fav, "not sure what I want, just offer me something interesting", then "naw, not really interested in that."

If the item is "trade only" I just move on, don't even try.

I'm guilty of trying to get some extras like ammo, not taking night sights into consideration, mags, holsters, or other stuff. But, if I really want it and it's a good deal I usually cave or not push the issue. Never hurts to ask!
