I travel back and forth from VA to GA... According to ATF, no forms required as long as it is a temp move and a Class III friendly state..... Once I got my GADL, I had to send in a change of address form to ATF.
I find it hard to believe that everyone that brings an NFA item to the Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot submits paperwork every year before they go.
Most of those guns are dealer guns. No need to notify ATF, just bring your license. The individuals do I assure you. No reason to risk a 20k investment over a faxable form.
This. They know when the knob creek shoot is. I doubt anybody would risk that either. If they do... they are stupid.
