Mine is ONLY A REPLICA and not one that you'd pay the kind of money it would take for me to let loose of it. Real ones are near impossible to afford.

I'm like you - only about 10 years earlier when I could get the 1897 basic shotgun replica from IAC for $375, get the Numrich Trench Gun heat shield and bayonet mount for $150 and add a custom Turner Saddlery pliant AWS 1907 sling for another $100... For me, it turned out really nice I think.
