I find it ironic that when UGA looses people always want to fire someone. Get a grip! Look at what they have to work with, a young defense, an offense with several injured key players. Hell, the Atlanta Falcons coaching staff couldn't have won the game against Missouri with the UGA players they had. UGA got their butt whipped because they were outplayed and outplayed. Sure Bobo made some dumbarse play calls, sure the players on offense and defense made some mistakes, sure Grantham made some dumbarse decisions, but it is what it is. Mistakes were made by both the players and the coaches. Could it have been better? Hell yeah, but they were not going to beat Missouri no matter who was coaching them.

I think that's a simplistic view of what's really going on. The two glaring things that stand out are:
1) UGA isn't recruiting top notch defensive players like they are on offense. Which begs the question...is UGA overvaluing their recruits that they do get on defense? Is the scouting the problem? There's absolutely no reason why a team like UGA should be having as many inexperienced and young players on either side of the ball. Recruiting is lacking....and it all seems to be going downhill since Rodney Garner left. Richt should have fought like hell to keep him. Grantham can't recruit for squat.
2) The defense isn't being coached up enough. Yes, the current crop of kids are young, but they can be coached up and they aren't. By this time of the season, they should be progressing, not regressing. They are flat out horrible.That is a coaching issue as well as a player issue.
