Ultralight rod recommendations

I use the Okuma Celilo UL 6’ for panfish and Prey Lightjigger V2 fishing rod smaller trout streams—paired with 4 lb line and a small spinning reel, it’s a great combo. Super sensitive, casts light jigs like a dream, and doesn't break the bank. It’s not as flashy as the St. Croix or Fenwick rods, but it punches way above its price. If you’re upgrading from an Ugly Stick, you'll immediately notice the difference in tip response and hookup ratio.

It isn't the flashiness that has made me a fan of St. Croix, it's the fact that they are purpose built for specific fishing applications, and they excel at those tasks.

Believe it or not, Ozark Trail makes a nice ultralight spinning rod.

Bass pro panfish elite is really nice for 70 bucks. Fuji seat and guides. Uses same blank as the pro qualifier.
