I would say 1954. They make reference to looking at these pistols is like being transported back to 1954. That and I see in one of the pictures there's an X54 stamped on the pistol pictured.

I'd pay the extra for unissued it they truly have never been shot since the last one I fired which was milsurp shoot a two foot group at three meters since the barrel had been corroded to where there was no rifling left. A semi automatic smooth bore musket was all that was. Parts are cheap enough, but a little bit more cash for less headaches is a good idea in my book.

Now the VZ58, I still want one of them. Mags seem to have come down and are now reasonable.
