United States Postal Service problem

I start the day with very low expectations of society and just expect people to do stupid ****, the government to be a dysfunctional waste of money and that I will receive poor service from anyone I interact with.

So that if by chance the rare occurrence happens that someone doesn’t do something stupid or I get good service, I am pleasantly surprised and happy instead of starting with high expectations and continually being disappointed.

No kidding. There was a huge split/rotten tree limb that's been hanging on for the past few months that finally fell and caused a city wide power outage. I knew it was gonna fall and the city didn't do jack until it became a problem/inconvenience. They knew as well because they been working on the road right by it. Now instead of just removing the limb they got to replace a broken power pole too.

I retired from the Post Office in Athens in October 2013. Before I retired, I saw the decline coming. Whenever a full time employee retired or transferred out of our office, the PO replaced them with parttime employees who just don't care about the mail as most all of the "old" employees did. They were just looking for that paycheck. It appears that in the past 11 years things have gotten progressively worse.

Wonder what’s going on between here and Montana? My package left Missoula on the 10th and was supposed to arrive on Sept. 14 but I haven’t gotten an update in 4 days…..oh that’s right it has to go through the unwiped ass of GA.

One month late. Only took contacting two senators and three Representatives. A dozen phone calls with USPS and half a dozen phone calls with members of Congress staff.

Your tax dollar is at work.

Still no update on tracking since Sept. 14. I got a call from USPS today saying my package has been misplaced but they are looking for it. I guess I need to do the same thing and start calling Senators and Congressman tomorrow. Glad you finally got your package delivered.
