Watched a "I survived" last night. Guy strangles, hits then rapes his wife. He is arrested. Gets out on bond but goes to court for spousal support and get $1000 monthly court ordered spousal support from her. He's in prison for 6 yrs but when he gets out he can go back for the support. Paying your abusive, raping convicted felony assailant. Way to treat the victim. This was in CA and she is working to change the law but even is she does, it's not retroactive so she'll have to pay him.
