UPDATE--I got in!! see page 11--HELP---Canon Safe won't let me in

I have a Canon safe I bought from TSC less than 6mos ago. It has the SecuRam Keypad and when I went to get into it last night It would NOT let me in.....My code is right, it is the same as my other safe. No one in the house could change the code.

I am supposed to get 4 tries before it locks out....it locks out after 2 tries. Then Beeps for 5 mins.

I have installed a new battery per the instructions.....same results..

I know a LOT of you guys probably have these same Canon safes from the TSC....have any of you ever experienced this!!

any help would be greatly appreciated....

As you put in the code try pressing against thedoor while turning the knob

What do I do if I lost my combination?
Please make sure to call the dealer where the safe has been purchased. Give your serial number located on the safe (typically on the right hand side of the safe in top upper corner) to a store manager. They will contact us directly with regards to your combination. This is required for your security.

I'm at work and my book is in my safe(might not be a great place for it, I know). When I get home tonight around 12 PM I'll get my book out and see if it helps.

Canon is closed for the weekend...They are open 24hrs a day...(mon-friday).....I tried TSC and their "Safe Guy" was OFF this weekend...NO HELP...

The ODD thing is that I didn't Lose my combo....its the same on ALL my safes...this one just QUITE working....went into it Friday....no issues...Saturday evening....won't open...acting all hinky!

Totally read that as a smartass remark but thought it was funny actually....a little sense of humor helps....I can turn the handle a "skosh"....no issues here I believe.

Have you tried turning lock to right before putting code in?

Dunno man, minimal info in my manual. make sure the handle is all the way clockwise. Maybe try the default 123456
