I hunt McDuffie. I thought it seemed like a pretty high ratio, but looking around I guess it isn't that out of the ordinary. 509 male 246 female. I can claim one of each.

Thanks batoncolle . My in-laws were at the house today for Thanksgiving. They were curious about the number of deer killed in Gilmer County where they live. I checked Gilmer for them and also checked Hancock County where I hunt. Hancock was at 2,030 this morning when I checked. It's at 2,043 tonight. Congrats to those who got one today. shotgun 01 was one of them one of y'alls? I know it wasn't me lol. I didn't see anything tonight.

I don't know of anything specific with that county, but the area where the coastal plains meets the piedmont has some of the best hunting in the state, especially on each side of the state.
