Why do my pics post upside down? Is there any way to rotate them?

just turn your screen upside down
That would work fine on an iPad but some folks aren't gonna like turning a desktop monitor upside down.

right click, edit, image, flip/rotate
That sounds like a party
(windows XP & 7) Right Click on image and select > Rotate clockwise / Rotate counter clockwise
Just Open your pic in any editing program(paint,photo viewer,etc.), use the "rotate" feature and save. Should do the trick...
I upload, on occasion, from my Iphone and never had them rotate on me?
