I'm not aware of our hospital having any kind of UV disinfection unit for small items (we have large UV units used to light rooms). I'm not that familiar with autoclaves, but I doubt masks and gloves would be something you could sterilize in that way.You can get it in April, if you pay an extra $68. The guy that brought this to my attention is Dr. Arthur Bradley, a NASA engineer, who has his own prepper site, https://disasterpreparer.com/product/coral-uv/
From the disaster prepper website, you can order special hooks to hold the masks closer to the lamps. I priced out a UV chamber with a year of spare parts for $138 for May delivery, and Dr. Bradley's hooks are $14.99 with free ship. The chamber uses UV-C lamps. It would seem that hospitals would have a larger unit like this for the disinfection of certain items. We might have to bring back autoclaves to disinfect Tyvek suits and gloves much like Russia did when the Iron Curtain was intact.
