USA Glock vs Austrian Glock

So I have a gen 3 19 made in USA glock.

Going to pick up a gen 4 for the wife in Friday.

Can't help but like the USA version better just because it's made in the USA. What say you?

To me a Glock is a Glock is a Glock. But I guess if given the option I'd pick the US made one to make myself feel like more of the money is staying here.

I tend to like the USA one better ( made in smyrna ). seems slightly different than the austria one

exactly!! Just something about the "USA" stamp that makes me warm and fuzzy inside.

USA all the way. Although the only difference is where it's made. Love glock. Best gun and best service in the industry

Austrian Glock all the way. As I understand it they are still treating the Glocks made in Austria with Tennifer, and the USA made Glocks cannot be due to EPA regulations. Tennifer is one of the main selling points of a Glock for me so I would prefer not buy one without it.

How true all this is? who knows. I was told by Glock that the EPA here will not allow Tennifer process. I don't know whats true http://firearms.fortreg.com/?p=1358
