USA or Austrian?

What I'm wondering, and it doesn't seem likely, are they not only 100% USA - but 100% Georgian. It may be tinfoil hat thinking, but there may come a time when it's an advantage to own a gun that was manufactured and sold without ever crossing state lines.
That's some serious tinfoil

There's a 3rd (and best) option you left out. Austrian proof marked.

Meh, no difference between them and any other Austrian made Glock except they have an import mark engraved on them instead of cleanly molded into the frame.

I'll take the clean mold thank you.

Fully assembled in Austria, where Hans better get it perfect or the Fuhrer will have him killed. Most Euro labor beats American labor. American labor is full of lazy ****s that want to be unionized.

All Austrian made Glocks are fully assembled in Austria. Only difference is some have an import mark molded into the frame as they are destined for the United states.

Only thing Glock USA does with them is swap out the sights (as they have to be imported with adjustable sights to have enough import points) and ship them to a distributor. ....which is exactly what they have to do with the Austrian proof marked ones as well......after they engrave the missing proof marks.

So you see, you beloved Austrian proof marked Glocks actually have more American labor in them than a non proof marked Austrian Glock.

Nope. The Glocks with the Austrian proof mark are fully assembled in Austria, whereas the Glocks with the Austria stamp on the slide and Glock, Smyrna stamped on the frame are different. The parts are made in Austria, and assembled in the U.S. Hence the import marking - they are already assembled guns coming in from another country.

And once again you are wrong. All Austrian made Glocks are imported complete and ALL Austrian made Glocks have import marks. Glock just molds it into the frame of the ones intended to be imported here. Look at the side of any Glock, you will see it there.

The only Glocks without import marks are those that are actually manufactured here....aka the USA made Glocks.
