My dad and brother both bank USAA and swear by it!!! they have both used many other banks and say that hands down USAA has the best rates and customer service! Good luck with your decision....

USAA has my checking, savings, insurance, and investments. No need for a bldg for me local.
Been a USAA customer since I turned 18 and I will never go with any other company for the rest of my life. Customer service is top notch, rates are ridiculously low, and any time I have had to settle a claim it is done within days, not months.
USAA is unique because they ONLY deal with military members and their families. By having an entire customer base that is a cut above the average joe on the street they can offer much lower rates than anyone else. At 18 years old with a red Trans Am I paid about $45 a month in car insurance. Nobody else could even come close to that IF they were willing to insure me at all. They never even jacked my rates up when I had a few tickets either. (18yr old in a fast car, its bound to happen)
