I’ve passed cops on HWY 60 many a time and they never bat an eye. Mine ain’t got a SMV triangle, turn signals or rear views. See em tagged in downtown Blue Ridge now though.

Convenient as hell where I live. Mountain dirt roads. Cut throughs to town, etc.On a side note - they are really nice to have on a farm but almost useless in tight woods other than trails and ride like a covered wagon on roads - For the size and price why not just get a good small used truck?
My boss's stepson has a 6 seater golf cart here in Perry. Not long ago he got a ticket for not having it registered. NOT registered and tagged with the STATE but registered with the City of Perry. Just another revenue stream/racket imposed on Perry residents. Did I mention that our water bill is always around or over $200.00 a month?Apparently Ga passed a law late last year making it legal to tag a UTV for on road use.
Anyone got the skinny on requirements?
They are high as hell. No disagreement there. My boss's stepson has a 6 seater golf cart here in Perry. Not long ago he got a ticket for not having it registered. Anyway not trying to hijack the thread. When we lived in McIntosh Co there was a fishing community called Shelman Bluff right off Hwy 17. I would bet there's more gold carts and side by sides there than cars. Aside from the sand gnats it's a great spot. Aside from that all I know about it is that those side by sides cost WAY more than I ever imagined.
I tried to work a detail job at a place called Mike's Golf Carts here in Perry back around 2012 or so. I should have known better since 1) It was one of those jobs ALWAYS listed on Craigslist. 2) The owner had the Guiness World Record for the biggest longest etc golf cart. That tacky faded out piec.of **** still sits in front of their building. Anyway Mike turned out to be the typical egotistical jerk off you would expect. But while working there I had to hose off a few of those Arctic Cat side by sides and park them back out front. I still remember that the cheap one was $14,500 and that's in 2012 dollars. They are high as hell. No disagreement there.
