For any veterans with a VA home mortgage, if you haven’t looked into doing an IRRRL, and are paying over 3%, you should consider it. I just refinanced my VA loan at 2.25% and because I’m a disabled veteran, I paid no funding fee. The biggest requirements are you must currently have a VA loan and this new rate must be at least 1/2% lower than your current rate.
