If a guy is wanting to buy an AK, or has thought about adding one to his arsenal, now is a great time to buy one. There are several very good ones that can be had for less than $600. If you find the right deal you can score a new one for around $500. They will go up in price again. And then again. I've seen some pretty good deals here on the ODT in the past few weeks.
And while I'm thinking about it, Magpul is set to release their new, long anticipated AK furniture sometime this week, if I'm not mistaken. I handled some AK's with the Magpul furniture at NRA and was very impressed. I really like their side folding stock.
This is a good deal for a VEPR. It would not surprise me if this model will be one of the more collectible AK variants in the coming years.

I want an AK that takes high cap mags, I was looking for one and saw the Vepr and I thought somebody may take like it, it's a good deal!
