Vepr seems like a good deal

Agree! I've been checking the Vepr out for a while, 7.62 X 54R. One awesome round.
Well, Atlantic has had the 23" for that price for some time.
I'm waiting for them to get into the $600 dollar range...maybe they will, maybe they won't.
Loves me some 7.62x54R. Thinking a 16" model would be just the flame thrower the doctor ordered...
Right not I'm just sitting back watching the prices fall and hoping this will happen within the next few months.
That, or I'm going to buy the SVT40 at Cherokee tomorrow after the M&G...
