I just hate to toss these out and I figured one of you guys out there is still working the VHS.

I guess I was wrong. What do you do with old tapes?

Not much you can do... They usually won't transfer using the VHS->DVD machines because of the copy protection, and you can replace them with (used) DVDs for a couple of bucks each on eBay or Amazon.

Probably just toss them, or put them in the attic to impress the great grand kids some day.
