In light of recent events, this song is incredibly poignant. Between "shot by his own son" to "a mother holds her child, watch as he dies, hands to the sky crying, why oh why". Not to mention the fact that most of the world will be glued to the news today, giddy over every update. Don't get me wrong, I am not passing judgement. I will be watching like every other junkie and zombie. It's just a little sad that we, myself included, actually don't give pause 'till the blood is flowing.
