So I only had a small piece of 01 laying around tonight and decided to take a crack a a neck/EDC knife. I also had just finished building a bevel jig and wanted to try out grinding a Scandi grind. So this is what I ended up with. It needs some profile refining in the handle. The round part of the grip that touches the palm is just a little big. Feels good though even without scales.
The jig is a piece of flat bar stock attached to a piece of 90 degree angle iron with piano hinges. I drilled and tapped the holes to screw in the hinges and also drilled and tapped a center hole for a knob screw that will adjust the angle of the bevel. I'm really happy with the way it turned out.
