Walmart ammo availability thread - Post what you see available & where!

Was at Walmart at Hamilton mill at 6:30. Stood at counter and asked several associates that were walking by to send someone over. There were 2 intercom requests to have an associate go the sporting goods counter. Finally got an electronics gal to go find a sales associate that Could help. Associate came over and asked what was I looking for and I said ammo:22,223,9,45. He then proceeded to tell me that Walmart had put on a moratorium on ordering ammo until congress decided what they were going to do???? I asked so when did that go into effect? He said the last several months. I then told him that I had bought 9 & 45 on 2 separate occasions in the last few weeks at that store. He finally agreed to walk into the back to check the truck they were unloading only to come back with another associate to tell me there was none on the truck. The new associate then proceeded to tell me that I should check the other Walmart in Buford bc they got their stock from the same truck and that their store got whatever Buford didn't want!!!
Considered calling over a manager to discuss the competence of his employees but decided to not waist my time...I had already been there half an hour...just venting here...

Walked into the Newnan store around 6pm, they had just received about 20 boxes or so of the 20-round Winchester 5.56 packs, roughly $12/box, no one was waiting around either. Associate said trailer was done and that's all they got today.
That can't be real, cause if thats the case, some people could be extremely rich! lol
I just gave away a box of that ammo.. Damn.. didn't know I was that nice..... lol...
by the time you post ammo here, someone reads it and gets to the store, its gone anyway. so whats it matter?
I think you are right, but regardless dobbins AFB had Winchester 5.56 for $12 a box, had 25 boxes. That was it.
as of 7:15 the WalMart across from Dobbins still had 15 boxes of Winchester 5.56.
Are you guys still able to buy ammo before 8 am? The East West Connector Walmart told me they could no longer sell ammo before 8 due to a Walmart company directive and that it pertained to all Walmarts. I guess asking them to work that early was taking a toll on the sporting goods department
The Alpharetta/Milton store @ 5455 Atlanta Hwy. has the following as of 7:40 am today. A few boxes of .40 S&W, .45 ACP and a fair amount of .357 SIG and .380.......they also had a decent amount of .223, 5.56, 7.62x39 30-06 and 7mm. There was also the obligitory odd hunting rounds and your normal 12 and 20 guage.
The app said that they had 9mm 100 round boxes in stock, but they were no where to be seen. We I did finally find someone to help me, I had her check with the "manager" (who would not come talk to me in person) and was told that they had some ALL of them about 45 minutes before I got there. Do I believe it.....nope.
