Walmart ammo clearance

I will buy ammo from Wal-Mart/ODT/ Friends any time it's a good deal. In the future when ammo prices get high people are going to say, I should have bought when it was cheap. I try to do all my deals when buying guns at a Wal-Mart, so I can look at the Wal-Mart 's ammo selection.

I know some folks around here have a problem with WalMart and Adventure Outdoors. I don't have any issues with them (I do own WMT stock--it has gone up 32% in 2019).

I get the monthly sales email from Adventure, and they are running a good sale on handgun and rifle ammo. I'll probably just go there tomorrow. I can roll in there and get ammo, check the gun counters, and check out in 5-10 minutes. It's +5 minutes if I buy a gun (GA permit).

I picked up most of what was left of the pistol ammo at my Walmart last night.

On Friday night, the Walmart in Cumming didn't have any amazing clearance prices on ammo. $25 for 150 rounds of 9mm. Good, but not jaw-dropping. 7.62 x 51 ball for 70 cents a round. Fair price, but not enough to motivate me to get out the wallet. I did pick up a few 20-round boxes of Tula .223 for $4.50 per box, but even that wasn't a great deal. I just needed some.
