Walmart ammo price increases

Went into walmart in Douglasville tonight and noticed that ammo prices had gone up a good bit. Tags were dated 7/1 and I could still see the older, lower price tags behind them. 100 rd WWB was up to 24.99 from 22.47, federal 50 rd 9mm was up to 11.99 from 10.47. 12ga sluggster packs went from 8.47 to 11.99 (i think) .357sig 50rd box is up to 29.99...think it was around 26 last week.
Overall a 10-20% increase on what I saw

You guys seen the same at your stores or is it just a local thing?

Same at the tucker store. I grabbed 2 100 rd boxes yesterday, and they were $24.99 as well.

yeah stopped in wal mart in roswell before hitting the range and the guy was actually tagging the ammo at a higher price. he was cool enough to let me have one more box of federal 9mm at the old price

I went to my Acworth Walmart to buy the WWB .40 100 count - always paid 28.99 Now the price 33.99.

There is a thread about thins over on Glocktalk. WalMart increased their ammo prices by $1.50 - $2.00 per box nationwide.

Yep same here. I just cleaned out the walmart down the road from me. Got quite a few boxes of federal .45s (which I noticed they started using smaller primers GHEY) and I bought some more .40 and 9mm. Like a few said, prices keep going up while my pay stays the same... well at least atm.
