Walmart no longer can order ammo

Wife had me hit walmart last night to grab something and I walked by the gun counter right as they were bringing a dolly full of ammo out. The guy said the truck was still unloading. They had .22, 9mm, .40, .45 and .223. The "preppers" that were waiting there and asked for ALL of the .223. Luckily I was able to grab some .22 for my boys to plink with before everything was gone. There were probably 10 people behind me by the time I checked out. It's surely gone now.

That's irritating.

I picked up 3 100 rd value packs last night at wallyworld in Winder...last three they had. Said 8 cases came in.

Hmm. I'm used to seeing inventory pushed out late at night so, when are you guys going? After 11, they will often refuse to sell in a case before 7am.

I was told that they don't order anything anyways.

They manager at the Waycross Wal-Mart said that they get whatever the distribution centers send them.

That's what I've been told. They don't know what they're getting until it's unloaded.

I was told this morning they order it but have no idea what is coming until the day before. Walmart is still in the ammo business it is just hard to come by right now.
