A while back, I saw the skeletonized receiver set available from War Dog Industries, and immediately thought it would make a great training aid. You can show folks the innerworkings, and how the parts move/interact/work when cycling.
Ordered the receiver set, and built it out with a bunch of parts I've got lying around. I use it in multiple courses that I teach, and it stays on display on the gun counter at TruPrep so that any employee can use it to explain different things to customers.
Best of all, I was able to actually find a use for a brand new FailZero NiB BCG! Put it in a training gun that you'll never fire!
