WARNING for those with a truck gun - thieves have new technology to unlock cars

So it appears that the west coast thugs have found a new technology that will open keyless car locks (see video in article). Police have not been able to figure out how they are doing it. I figure it won't be long before that will spread here. I know many OTD members keep a gun in their vehicle, you might want to consider additional security or take it with you when your car is parked unattended for long periods.

RF Scanner same as what they use on the Garage Door Openers, looks for the individual codes assigned to the locks.

Solution: Don't keep your gun in your vehicle, it does you no good if you need it.
