watch out fellas, we got a new hunter in the woods this year

Took her shooting today and she did pretty good. She was all over the targets but in groups. She shoot the 30-30 and 30-06. O think one more trip and she will be more confident and less nervous but overall she did very good.
hope to take my daughter hunting one day. shes gotta learn how to walk first though

Here's the first time I took my daughter. She had on a camo shirt but she is such a girly girl she got my Mom to sew fake gems on her shirt...I made her put her coat on when we got to the ladder stand!

my son has started hunting with me this year. he is 10 and he loves getting out there with his bow and chuckin' arrows.
Welcome to hunting young lady and hope you continue the hunting tradition. I think most guys would agree it's not always about killing the animal that draws us to the woods. There are so many things I have seen out there sitting in a stand. One of the coolest was a rough legged hawk landed within reach and sat there staring at me trying to figure out what this big bird was doing up there.
I have three girls myself. The oldest couldn't harm anything but the 2 younger ones enjoy shooting with me. I'll take them scouting with me and teach them what I know.

My greatest memories hunting wasn't killing anything, it was the comrodery. Building fires at night and bbq's. Now there were plenty of times that we feasted on the deer that had been taken. My favorite as a kid was grilled back strap sandwiches with Maurice Carolina mustard bbq sauce.
