National gun registry is illegal. a TAX registry isn't. The atf will have to remove those items from their tax registry.

No they aren't still on the NFA. Please read pages 261-262:

Legally, The registry only exist to prove you paid the tax, so they would be completely off the NFA if the tax is zero. The only way for them to remain on the NFA is if they were rewriting the NFA, but that's not what they're doing, they're just repealing parts. That's My understanding but could be wrong.
