Having a single Senate committee approve the silencer reform part of this bill is good,
but it still has to pass the full Senate.
I think that's doubtful, because many Republican senators are only moderately pro gun, and they still think of silencers the same way we think of bazookas and belt fed machine guns : unsuitable for ordinary people.
I'd contact my two Georgia senators if I thought it would do any good but considering those people are Raphael Warnock and John Osoff, I might as well just talk to a cement block wall.
Nah, in this case it may be worth it to contact them. It's not really a hot button issue for GA Democrats, they're not likely to be seeing pushback on it from their base here in GA. If they get enough messages in support for it, it's a good indicator for them that's there's no political gain in fighting it.
At the end of the day that's all these people care about. They don't really give a **** or even understand the nuances of silencers and SBR registration.
If they see more constitutions in favor than opposed, it's easy math.
