I started a weight loss plan/goal Aug 4th after an accident and during my difficult recovery, going to Dr. visits and constantly stepping on the scale at every Dr. I had to go see. And noticing on my chart they wrote the word - Obese.
My weight at that time was 238lbs.

I was down about 20lbs after 60 days when I returned to work but decided to continue to eat healthier and set a weekly or monthly goal to get healthier and lose weight.
Crossing the 200lb barrier and I noticed they had changed my BMI index on my chart to say just -Overweight

This morning I had my yearly physical and noticed my weight and BMI listed as -Normal
This morning I reached a goal weight of 168lbs. I lost 70lbs in 7 months total weight loss.

This was just a celebratory post because I needed to tell someone. Thanks for listening.

Anyone wanting to know how I did it, just ask. I will be glad to share.
Otherwise thanks for reading. Listening.

I am going to get breakfast. At Cracker Barrel to celebrate.

Outstanding! :yo: 🎉
It's amazing how much really is in our control and how quick we are to make excuses.

Yes. It’s Amazing to realize our brain is the strongest muscle in my body..or at least that’s what I told myself everyday.

just curiously inquiring on your proven method that worked for you

Chicken. I’ve eaten so much rotisserie chicken from my local Ingles that I know their schedules of what times they come off the cooker. LoL
Rotisserie chicken and a box of frozen green giant vegetable was my meal almost everyday.
But I really have to say that eating a light breakfast and then lunch at 12-1 pm not eating anything past 3pm was the key to my weight loss.
When times were difficult and my body seemed to be stuck on a weight I would switch to OMAD or One Meal A Day.
The intermittent fasting from last meal until breakfast or lunch the next day was the single biggest factor in my weight loss journey.
Surprisingly exercise played no part in my journey. Whether I exercised and walked really did not change results 1 single bit over the last 7 months.
I felt better if I walked or exercised because my body felt more limber or stretched but made no impact on the scale from day to day.

Anyway.. thanks for letting me share my journey.
Hope it helps someone on their own journey. My age is 63 and I’m in the best shape since I was in my 30’s
