Weirdest things people have found in the woods

When i was about 10 i was out in the woods behind our house just walkin around with my little bow and then saw what i thought was a blujay and took a shot at it and hit but it didnt fall over or anything that bluejay turned out to be the blue jeans of a man who had hung himself from a tree

As a kid I lived in Mainz Germany, In the woods on our post we found tons off bunkers. Most were sealed off somehow but two of them you could get into.
And I found a yellow jacket den when I lived in Savannah, aside from that just the normal trash left behind by others

One of the places I hunt up in Pa. is an abandoned TNT plant from back in WWII. Called the Keystone ordinance works. It is 20+ square miles of abandoned buildings, water towers and bunkers. Pretty neat place to walk around for the afternoon. Lots of equipment still remains, including old military vehicles and such. Great hunting, and fishing on the property.

While hunting in Dahlonega behind the army ranger's camp we find machine gun clips and casings all the time and I have on my hunting vest a backwards american flag patch that came off one of them, I sat down tired of walking and sat right beside the patch laying on the ground in the middle of nowhere.

Why is the flag backwards on military uniforms? Ive always woundered that but never could find out why.

It is not backwards the flag goes on your right shoulder below your combat patch and is displayed as if you are moving forward or charging into combat.
