Not long ago I saw a bumper sticker that read "I pray for Riverdale".

Stay away from Mountain View and Fairview. I lived for 25 years in AK, Bush and Anchorage, ask me anything you want.
Rabbit Creek membership was under 100 a year, they are closed in December. Research shipping guns, most moving companies go thru Canada, so guns are a no no in household goods. Some ship on a barge bypassing Canada.

I've been gone for 4 years and miss AK dearly. State economy is not hot right now, due to low oil prices, so housing should be cheaper when I left in 2011.
If are looking for a church, let me know, wife and I had been involved in ministry in AK for a while, so we've been to most churches in Anchorage. Same with a realtor, we know a good and honest one.

I got no advice on the NFA stuff
Other than I'd probably find a legit place to store em here and have em shipped later unless there's an easy way to have them as checked baggage in your flight up
