Wendy's Manager shoots robber dead in Savannah

putting a gun to my head is admitting that you are 100% willing to kill me. who will you kill later if i let you go? this employee is a hero. what if your son of daughter was to be this perp's next victim.

He followed them to get a vehicle description, number of suspects and direction of travel to relay to the police. They decided to point the gun at him.

This is a logical, well articulated explanation of one's actions that makes perfectly good sense to a juror and even a LEO taking the report and conducting the investigation.

The one about chasing him to prevent him from making some unknown person a victim in the future will get you a lot of time to think about what you should not have said.

We all have our thoughts of what should of not happened and what was good about the out come--we all can say in the end it is one more sh--head off the streets--got a rap sheet 3 feet long--6 brother and sisters and none of them have the same daddy---you never know what you will do until it happens to you--we all are packing---lets hope we never have to come across this---

The robber again pointed the gun at the manager. He was a threat, the manager used an appropriate amount of force to DEFEND against the unlawful force used against him.
Most robbers are pussies and only rob those that they think can't or won't fight back. He got fooled this time.

While everyone makes jokes, talks tough about what they would or wouldn't do and celebrates the removal of a criminal; let's not forget to say a prayer for the manager,
This young, courageous, 22 year old will carry this around for the next sixty or so years and the fact that it may have been necessary or justified won't keep him from having to relive it over and over nearly every day of his life.
