Last night I went over to Academy to pick my son up a bike for Christmas. While there, I stepped over to the ammo aisle to pick up some .40 and 22lr. There was plenty of both...as well as shotgun shells. 9mm, 45 and .223 was all cleaned out. I walked out with 500 rds of .40 and 1000 rds of 22lr and just shook my head at the guys in the aisle *****ing about how they couldn't get .223 for their new ARs.

Hey look guys, check out my new AR that I can't shoot because there's no ammo!

Man I am just bummed I can't find any ammo for what I already have.

On my way back from little rock Arkansas this morning I passed the Remington factory at 5:30 am and the parking lot was packed. Looks like they are running at full steam.....

Hahaha, glad I bought a few thousand rounds of 9mm and 5.56 a few months ago.

I think the worst part of it for me is that I hate when people I don't know stand behind me, but I can deal with it. I also hate when people I don't know brush against me or I feel an elbow or whatever, but I can deal with it. But I can't deal with both. If you're a stranger you have to pick: you can either stand behind me OR touch me, but not both because it freaks me out.

I kinda like getting felt up by a stranger! Just close your eyes and let them take u places you've never been.

You think so? Even still to me Feb 1st gives us some time I think. With all the buying thats going on now I don't see this keeping up for 4-5 more weeks.

Why not?

Stores are still filling up and selling out. There are still a lot more out there who are still willing to buy but, are having trouble finding the supply. And even more out there willing to capitalize on that.
