There is a cop in our local Publix, why the opposition to a cop at school? I'm still trying understand the disconnect between a firearm in the hand of a good guy, vs. a firearm in the hands of a bad guy. There has been so much effort to demonize and anthropomorphize firearms by anti-rights groups that it's threatened the safety of children via blocking common sense laws.

I hope that is the case. Talk about the ultimate fail.
1) Proves 'gun free zones' don't work
2) Proves anti-gunners are whack jobs that will stop at nothing including terrozing kids
3) Proves schools are incapable of defending kids UNLESS there is an ARMED defense at the school.
4) Proves the only bill that was worth passing during the freak out was the one to fund more psychiatric help.

Except for that fact that the only ones who will accept that proof already know it to be the truth. All those that buy into the anti-gun non-sense can't be reasoned with, and as a result, facts mean nothing to them.

Duh. Because a gun is evil and evil in the hands of a good guy OR a bad guy is STILL evil.
