I want to try the brass juice, is it citric acid based as well?

No because I have to use lemi shine also

I stopped using Lemi-Shine and switched to food grade citric acid. Ordered it off Amazon, it's like $2/pound.....much cheaper than Lemi-shine and since it's food grade, safe to be around.

The older I get the more careful I am about what chemicals I keep around. Some of the stuff I used without thought in my youth turned out to be super bad stuff. Scotch-Guard comes to mind!

I use the Frankfort Arsenal liquid concentrate with the pins and wet tumble for an hour. Drain and save cleaning solution, then tumble for another hour with just clean water as a rinse cycle. I reuse the cleaning solution multiple times before I discard.
