If that's the case, you need new friends. If you can't talk to your true friends and get advice about legitimate things that are bothering you then you are hanging out with the wrong folks.
I do want to be with her, I just don't want either one of us to get hurt.

Well, that's why they call it taking a chance. In my life, I think it's better to go for it and see what happens. Life is filled with positives and negatives, it's all how we react and bounce back from them.
Women are like a cup of Tea, until you try it you'll never know if it is sweet, bitter,hot,cold, or just right..But you gotta try it to tell! Just my two cents.
