Well I found the SIM cards.

Emergency! Phones can dial 911 whether they have service or not. Stick it in a go-bag in case of emergency.

I plugged them up and they both are asking for a complete activation right down to signing in with my Apple ID. I just wanted to get to the settings to see what memory they had.

You can look up the model or serial on the back and it'll tell you the specs.

I sent some old phones to troops overseas charity where if it’s unlocked can put whatever SIM card in them and allow the men & women in uniform to talk to families back home………. I’ll see if I can find it……
