The NRA is the only organization that really really really wants to protect gun rights. It's not about fund raising at all.

I dislike convoluted and contradictory gun laws. The Hughes amendment to the 1986 FOPA is a sham and farce. However, bump stocks violate the spirit of the law and if you shoulder a “brace” you need to pony up and buy a stamp like everyone else.
Tactical clothing at the range is silly. Wear what you’re comfortable in, not what you think you need to wear.
It’s perfectly fine to plink away with 22s. You don’t have to do combat reloads and scan for more threats after every firing string.
