What are we wrenching on this weekend?

Love to see some pics of the montecarlo !
This isn't mine, but it's real close I'm not as tech savvy as some of you. The engine just barely fits under the stock hood

I think I'm about done for the day. The rain and/or threat of it has kind of cramped my efforts. Stopped on the car because rain blows under the barn roof. I was able to get the base silver on the pontiac rally II wheels. I also while ducking the weather found a speedo cable, fan shroud, and tubular fender braces. Older pic of bird and barn.

That'll be nice. People don't realize what all is involved on a full restore. Not unless you've done it before. I did one, I said I'd never do it again. I guess if I keep mine long enough, somebody will be doing it. Luckily I keep them in good shape

I've been working on my boat. I put in a new wash down pump and changed the fuel filter and pumped the gas out into my truck. I still have to service the main and trolling motors before I finally put it away till next spring. Then I've got to do some work on my Excursion, but that should take me a while so I'm saving it for when it gets colder. I'll be good as long as spring doesn't creep up on me like it did last year.

Chasing down a gremlin that makes my Honda ST-1300 lose power after it gets good and hot-- an hour down the road. This is the first time I've had all the plastic off on the right side. It took a phone consultation with the mechanic to get it off and God only knows what it's gonna take for me to get all that Tupperware back on

I may leave it off and go for a ride with the bike looking like a cadaver on the autopsy table .
How much gas is in it when it does it? Will it start again after it cools down? It if happens with a half tank of less, fuel pump could be the culprit, they get hot expand and stop spinning.

I had to pull the starter on my boat. Went to put it in the water this morning and the bendix stuck. This kept me from being able to pull start it as well so we just came home. I have a new starter on the way. Can't help but think God has a lesson for me on plans and disappointment.
Bummer.
