Nobody is going after it right now. Walmart in Monroe had 2 or 3 DOZEN boxes of it this past Friday, but the .223 was completely gone.
I'll stock up on it right now, and then when a 9mm panic hits, I'll switch over to .223 or .22 (if it's back in stock by then).

Not yet but I can still see some snow outside. I only want milk sandwiches when I see snow or ice! lol
Got plenty of 5.56. Picking up .9mm here and there while prices are still normal with no panic. Panic buy on 5.56. Causes dealers to scarf it all up. People that can't get 5.56, especially deakers, jump to the second best selling caliber which is .9mm because they need something to fill the gap. It's classic and predictable. We have all seen it happen many times. Assuming 5.56 keeps doing what it's doing.
Shouldn't there be a poll option for "boating accident"?
300blk...its almost as cheap as 5.56
Check out Ozark ordnance on the .300 blk. Ive shot a couple hundre rounds of it through my rifle and its great stuff. If its still on sale its cheaper than what ive seen on 5.56
Have more than what I need to reload . Looks like it will be cheaper again to reload 223
