The reloading forum tends to be quiet. With opening day so close, lets see what others are taking into the woods.
I will be sitting in a ground blind with a 6.5 creedmoor this weekend. The opening affords about 250 yard shot possibilities.
My load
140gr Gold Dot
Nosler premium brass ( neck turned )
40.3 gr of H4350 at 2585fps ( not fast but sd of 4fps )
Federal LR primer
This load is consistently 1/2 moa or better ( 5 shot groups ) in my bergara with my old eyes behind the scope. Oddly enough this rifle shoots the gold dots as well as any match bullet that i have tried in it.
200 yard target.
